The website does not use cookies for tracking, statistics or advertising, and it does not use analytics tools. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server, without connecting to external providers.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. On every visit, Cloudflare technically processes the IP address, browser information and the address of the page visited, in order to display the website and protect it against attacks. For this purpose Cloudflare may set a technical cookie that is necessary for the website’s security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the safe and reliable operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Email correspondence

When you write to us, we process your email address, your name, the content of your message and any other data you choose to share, in order to reply and keep up the correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, if the message concerns entering into a contract such as a partnership, steps taken before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Donations by bank transfer

With a donation by bank transfer, the bank gives us the donor’s name, account number, amount, date and payment reference, and sometimes the address. We process this data to receive and record the donation and to meet our accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). We may also contact donors to thank them for their support (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Events

If you sign up for one of our events, we process the data you provide when signing up, such as your name and contact details, in order to organise the event and keep you informed about it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Details are given at sign-up.

3. Who receives the data

Data may only be shared with providers who help us run the foundation:

  • Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the website and forwards emails sent to addresses in the proartefutura.com domain;
  • Google, the provider of the mailbox that receives our correspondence;
  • the bank that holds the foundation’s account, for donations;
  • the accounting firm or accountant who keeps the foundation’s books;
  • public authorities, where the law requires it.

4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Cloudflare and Google may also process data in the United States. These transfers are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which these companies participate, and on standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

5. How long we keep data

  • Correspondence is kept for as long as the exchange continues and then for up to 2 years after the last contact, unless longer storage is needed to establish or defend legal claims.
  • Accounting records relating to donations are kept for 5 years from the start of the year following the financial year they concern, as required by Polish accounting law.
  • Technical data about website visits is kept by Cloudflare for a short time, under its own rules.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, write to contact@proartefutura.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) or with the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

7. Do you have to provide data?

Providing data is voluntary. Without an email address, however, we cannot reply to you, and transfer details are sent to us by the bank together with the donation.

8. Profiling

We do not profile anyone or make automated decisions.

9. Links to other websites

The website contains links to other services, such as Wikimedia Commons and Creative Commons. They have their own privacy rules, for which we are not responsible.
